Da Nang Worker Housing Project
This was a Group design project where we all worked on the initial layout and thorough the semester, further developed the construction documents. This was a joint venture as our professor had worked closely with the Vietnamese Government to present our ideas to some councilmen.
Chinatown Intervention
When working in Design Studio, we developed a three-story space for a mixed-use building where there would be a tenant in the business district of Honolulu's Chinatown (Downtown Honolulu, HI). I decided to design a mid-classy restaurant with two separate dining areas. I also have a small night club in the back on the second floor for the nightlife of Chinatown. Lastly, the owner of the establishments lived on the top floor with a tinted glass roof façade to help with the heat gains.
